| Course Description |
In Sculpture Design 5, individual work develops over the semester exploring specific sculptural and design concerns in response to critical discussion with staff and peers. Studio theory fosters each student's ability to articulate a contextual framework for their developing design practice. Students present work for critique and keep extensive visual and technical diaries. Occupational health and safety instruction is an integral part of this course. |

Portfolio of studio work (80%) [LO’s 1 – 7] Journal/Documentation/Studio Theory presentation (20%). [LO’s 2 - 7] Assessment includes periodic critique and review sessions that provide ongoing feedback on work in progress. |

12 hours per week lectures, tutorials, critiques and supervised studio practice and 6 hours per week independent studio practice. |
