Experimental studio based research explores the convergence of material exploration and developing ideas, informed by contemporary and/or historical precedents in the field of ceramic design and/or the broader design arts. Critical reflection is further developed through discussion with staff and peers. Studio theory consolidates student's ability to articulate a contextual framework for their design-based practice.
