I. Preliminary Review of linear models (1 week) • OLS estimation and assumptions II. Discrete Response models (2 weeks) • Binary response: Logit and Probit estimations • Multinomial Response: Multinomial Logit • Ordered Response: Ordered Logit and Probit • Bivariate Probit III. Count Data Models (1 week) • Poisson regression model; Negative binomial models IV. Models with sample selection (1 week) • Tobit and extensions V. Duration Analysis (1 week) • Parametric (Weibull) and non-parametric (Cox) estimations. VI. Panel Data (2 weeks) • Pooled, Random and Fixed Effects estimations for linear and non-linear models • Unbalanced panels and Sample attrition VII. Estimation of Average Treatment Effects* * if time permits |
