| Course Description |
High performing students will be given the opportunity to complete a substantial individual Master thesis project on a topic of current research interest under the supervision of an ANU academic. |

| Indicative Assessment |
Assessment typically consists of a thesis mark (80-90%) and a graded seminar presentation (10-20%). Students can negotiate a progress mark component with their supervisors (up to 10%). |
| Workload |
Major thesis project weighted at 12 units each semester. Workload commensurate with that expected of a thesis of this value. |
