Course Description

This course provides an opportunity for students to complement their coursework by undertaking a related research project with has an applied focus. A supervisor will be assigned to the student. Students should develop a proposal before enrolling in this course and discuss the proposal with the Program Coordinator. (See also FINM7012 Applied Research Project 2)

Learning Outcomes

On completion of this course students should have an understanding of and be able to apply the techniques outlined in the course description.

Eligibility

At least an average of 65% (or equivalent) in the final two years of an Australian undergraduate degree with at least one year of university level study in quantitative analysis, including basic mathematics and data analysis techniques.
