| Course Description | The course comprises of a one semester internship at an UNDP office involved in the development activities and the preparation of a 6000 word research essay for a 6 unit course, and 12,000 words for a 12 unit course under the supervision of an ANU academic on a topic around development themes of the internship. |
| Learning Outcomes | Knowledge of international development issues and practices in UNDP key activities through hands-on involvement as intern. |
| Indicative Assessment | Students will be required to complete a 6000 or 12,000 word research essay, or equivalent form of assessment by negotiation with the individual ANU College, on an agreed question around the themes of the internship, drawing on the field experience. The assessment would be managed by an ANU academic staff member. |
