| Course Description |
Provide a complete introduction to the world of electronic business, with a balanced coverage of business and technical topics. Students are introduced to both the theory and practice of doing business over the Internet and the World Wide Web. Topics covered include: infrastructure, tools, software, on-line payment methods, Web design issues and an introduction to various business models. |

Assumed Knowledge and Required Skills |
It will be assumed that students have undertaken a first course in information systems and are familiar with computerised systems in general as well as the use of the Windows PC operating system and standard office automation software. |
