| Learning Outcomes |
At the end of the course students should have developed practical ability in reading and writing Japanese: composition and reading comprehension of short passages on various topics and 180 kanji. |

Periodic tests (30%), Assignment work (40%), and a final examination (30%), to be confirmed towards the end of semester. |
