Course Description

This course is a research component of Teaching Japanese: Content (JPNS6512), and generally takes the form of independent study through which students enhance their knowledge of Japanese linguistics and/or applied linguistics by reading and summarising selected articles.

Learning Outcomes At the end of the course students should acquire general skills and knowledge for conducting research in Applied Japanese Linguistics. In addition students will be able to critically evaluate and analyse the
current various issues of Applied Japanese Linguistics.
Indicative Assessment To be discussed and confirmed at first lecture.
