| Course Description |
This course is a follow-up to the compulsory International Law course LAWS2250. Having reviewed the general structure and principles of international law, the first part of this course is intended to round out the coverage of 'general' public international law by focusing on an area only partially dealt with in the compulsory course LAWS2250; namely State responsibility for internationally wrongful acts. In the second section, the course continues the theme of responsibility by considering the individual’s place in contemporary international law under international criminal law. |
| Learning Outcomes |
At the end of this course, students should have a better understanding of the system of international law and its functioning, notably in respect of two regimes of international responsibility. |
