Course Description

Students will work with a research supervisor on a public health research project.  This will usually be a component of a longer research project and could comprise of activities such as literature review, protocol formulation and piloting, data collection, analysis and/or writing up for publication.

  • Contribution to public health research;
  • Generation of public health knowledge.
Indicative Assessment
  • Preparation of a research plan
  • Literature review
  • Research report

(Percentage weighting to be negotiated at the beginning of the project).

Requisite Statement

Undergraduate degree in the health or medical sciences, science, the humanities or social sciences, of an acceptable standard.
