| Course Description |
The course will consist of a research project relevant to the student's coursework. It may be conducted in collaboration with an employer or other business or government body or it may be a basic biomedical science or clinical research project. The details of the project will be negotiated between the student, the supervisors and the convener of the course. |
| Learning Outcomes |
At the end of this course, students will be able to a. integrate principles, skills and knowledge from earlier courses in a practical environment; b. have a broader understanding of problems, issues and considerations in translational medicine |
| Indicative Assessment |
80% thesis; 20% seminar |
| Workload |
It is expected that the student will spend at least 60 hours on the research project at times negotiated between student, supervisor and course convenor. |
