| Course Description |
Building on skills developed in MUSM2211, this course will give students an opportunity to complete an extended and focused piece of research on a musical topic. Topics will reflect the current research projects of the school and the wider community, and involve the development of skills in collaborative research. In most cases the research project will be a group activity aligned with a research project of the School, but students, with permission, may also undertake individual research projects. |

A mixture of seminars and workshops equivalent to three hours per week, plus seven hours of independent study per week. |
| Requisite Statement |
Students may only pursue Music Research Projects with the permission of the Head of School and agreement of the supervisor. Departmental consent is required |
