Course Description

Students will learn a graded series of ensembles from the opera and concert repertoire.

 

Learning Outcomes Upon successful completion of this course students will have developed skills and understanding in sight-reading and part-singing of ensembles and choruses through weekly individual sight-reading, and rehearsal and performance of operatic and concert ensemble repertoire.
Indicative Assessment

Students will be assessed on preparation, performance and presentation of assigned ensembles in classes and concerts.  No grades will be awarded other than 'Course Requirements Satisfied' or otherwise.

 

Workload

Average two hours per week.
