| Course Description |
This course covers the principles and technical details of electro-optics and opto-electronics systems. In particular, it covers the use of diode lasers, optical modulation, photodetection, demodulation and fibre interferometry. The course introduces the underlying physics as well as technical details and practical limits of today's equipment. |
