After introductory and review sessions, the course will take a systemic approach to industry policy development and implementation in the global economy. There will be core themes around global systems, business systems, governance systems and policy systems. From a comparative perspective, national experience in industry policy will be examined in Australia and several selected countries in the USA, Europe and Asia.
