| Course Description |
This course aims to extend the students' ability to communicate clearly and effectively both in spoken and written Spanish. A variety of literary, non-literary texts and audiovisual material will be used to further develop the students' communicative competence in Spanish. |
| Learning Outcomes |
On successful completion, the students' communicative competence should enable them to function effectively in unpredictable situations of a Spanish-speaking environment. The students' communicative skills should have reached an intermediate level that will enable them to function effectively and confidently in Spanish. Students should be able to understand and use most of the grammatical structures when expressing themselves in oral and written form. They will have a sufficient range of language to describe unpredictable situations, and express thoughts on cultural topics expressed in comics. |
| Indicative Assessment | Graduate students may attend joint classes with undergraduates but can expect more rigorous assessment and additional assignment work, tailored to their interests. |
