| Course Description |
The Special Topic for 2012 is 'Security in Government'. This unit is partly based on the operational and management experience of the two presenters, both of whom have extensive backgrounds in national security, defence or law enforcement. The course explores a range of credible security and criminal threats; considers their relevance to the management of security in government (and the corporate sector); and discusses the likely future trajectory of these threats. The protective security and related matters covered in this course are critically important for both public and private sector managers, but are often neglected in tertiary courses in Australia. |
