Course Description Intermediate Turkish B is designed for students who can already read and write paragraphs of a fair length using most tenses both in direct and indirect speech. The course will further cover urgency and continuity verbs, debervatives of time and simulation. The course will include comprehensive reading passages on Turkish theatre, cinema, dance and music. Some Turkish terms, proverbs and poems will also be introduced in this course.

Fortnightly assignments (30%)

Final examination (including oral component) (50%).

Students are required to attend language laboratory sessions and listen to the recordings on the WebCT (one hour a week) and hand in their Work Book for correction.
