| Course Description |
This unit is designed for Vietnamese native speakers who can speak the language but have no formal experience in reading and writing Vietnamese. Students will be introduced to Vietnamese grammar and syntax, and practice reading, discussing and writing on academic themes. |
| Indicative Assessment |
Attendance and class participation (10%), weekly assignments (totalling 20%), mid-term exam (30%), final exam (30%), minor project (10%). Graduate students attend joint classes with undergraduates but may expect more rigorous assessment and additional assignment work, tailored to the graduate students? interests. |
