This vertical double degree is ideal for students who would like to engage fully with the concepts and practical applications of our rapidly-changing world. This package of degrees provides practical training to equip students to fully engage with our neighbours in the Asia-Pacific region and a sound basis for a career in academia, business and government or non-government sectors.

The Bachelor of Asia-Pacific Studies is the primary undergraduate degree of the ANU College of Asia and the Pacific. It allows students to acquire advanced language skills while gaining a deep understanding of the Asia-Pacific region’s context through parallel non-language study.

The Master of Globalisation is an interdisciplinary degree which allows students to apply their theoretical learning in relation to globalisation in a series of practical, problem-based learning exercises.

Admission Requirements

Admission to all programs is on a competitive basis, taking into account all relevant academic qualifications. If you hold more than one qualification, admission will be based on your overall record. Tertiary qualifications are generally weighted more heavily than secondary. If you have completed an approved tertiary preparation course or alternative entry scheme, you will be assessed on the results of that scheme alone, unless you have undertaken subsequent study.

Click HERE for further information about domestic admission pathways.

The table below is a guide to the entry level required for domestic applicants. Exact entry level will be set at time of offer.
