Biological Anthropology is not offered at most Australian universities. The ANU’s postgraduate coursework in the discipline is designed for students who have developed an interest in the subject, but who may have relatively little prior formal background in it. Progression into the Master of Biological Anthropology is possible upon completion of the Graduate Certificate in Biological Anthropology.
Prerequisites
Applicants should have a three year Bachelor degree from an Australian tertiary institution or its international equivalent. Applicants without a first degree, but with relevant professional experience and appropriate prior learning, will be eligible for admission into the Graduate Certificate in Biological Anthropology. Determination of the courses making up the Graduate cCertificate in Biological Anthropology for an individual student will be made through consultation with the convener.
