The Graduate Certificate in Applied Epidemiology will equip students with the knowledge and skills required to undertake applied epidemiology research in the field. This will include the knowledge and skills for the investigation of outbreaks, analysis of public health datasets and the evaluation of public health surveillance systems.
Admission Requirements:
The minimum academic requirement is completion of an undergraduate degree and
- Graduate level courses on Epidemiology and Biostatistics from a recognized School of Public Health (either in Australia or internationally), or
- Completion of Fundamentals of Epidemiology and Fundamentals of Biostatistics short courses held at the ANU.
