Candidates are required to complete:

Three compulsory 12-unit core course:

Semester 1 - INTR8036: World Politics

Semester 1 / Semester 2 - INTR8065: Writing International Relations

Semester 2 - INTR8066: Contemporary Issues in International Relations

And an additional two 6-unit electives drawn from the Master of International Affairs/MA (International Relations) programs.

Students who wish to transfer from GDIA to MAIR or MIA will receive 24 units of advance standing towards the new degree.
