The Graduate Certificate in Social Research is a professional degree designed to provide training in social science research methods. Students have the option of transferring from the Graduate Certificate to the Master of Social Research subject to satisfactory progress.

Prerequisites
Applicants should have a three year Bachelor degree from an Australian tertiary institution or its international equivalent. Applicants without a first degree, but with relevant professional experience and appropriate prior learning, will be eligible for admission into the Graduate Certificate in Social Research. Adequate skills in mathematics and a proficiancy in English are also required. Pre-course English training can be undertaken via the ANU College.
