Master of Archaeological Studies (Research)
Completion of 48 Units of the Master of Archaeological Studies with a Distinction average (or equivalent) i.e the courses for the Master of Archaeological Studies program plus a 24 unit research component.
Please note that this research program is a 1 semester addition to the year long coursework MArchSt program.
Candidates for the M. Arch. Stud. (Res) are required to complete coursework to the value of 24 units, in the form of one compulsory research project: ARCH8xxx – Advanced Research Project (12-24 units). This course involves supervised research resulting in a short (normally 20-25,000 words) research paper.
