Program Requirements

The program comprises 48 units of coursework, with admission in either summer session, semester one or winter session.

 

Summer Session

DIPL8001 - Transnational Diplomacy - 12 units

Semester One

DIPL8002 - Contemporary Challenges in Diplomacy: Politics, Economics, Law and Strategy - 12 units

DIPL8003 - Case Studies in Diplomacy - 6 units

DIPL8004 - Negotiation and Conflict Resolution - 6 units

Winter Session

DIPL8001 - Transnational Diplomacy - 12 units

DIPL8006 - Diplomacy, Politics and the United Nations (advanced) - 12 units

DIPL8008 - Diplomacy, Politics and the United Nations - 6 units

An elective relevant to the study of Diplomacy may be taken from an area outside the Asia-Pacific College of Diplomacy. A relevant course might be in the field of International Relations, Strategic and Defence Studies, Public Policy, National Security or Law for example. Candidates should not enrol in electives from outside the Asia-Pacific College of Diplomacy until they have formal approval from the Delegated Authority and permission from the relevant area.
