| Course Description |
The course will examine a variety of visual sources for mainly non-Aboriginal art in Australia during the 20th century and up to the present day. While it will in no way attempt a survey of Australian art, it will range widely, looking at different media and art forms including architecture, printmaking and sculpture. |

Students must submit and perform all assessment tasks in order to complete the course. Failure to submit assessment items by the last day of the exam period and perform assessment tasks on schedule will result in an NCN.

| Workload |
Classes will be held on campus and at the National Gallery of Australia. Two hours of lectures per week and a weekly one hour tutorial. Students are expected to complete an average of 7 hours of study per week outside class contact hours. |
