| Course Description |
In Printmedia and Drawing 6, students develop and undertake an individual project in consultation with academic staff. An innovative approach to the materials and processes of printmedia and /or drawing is encouraged. Experimentation with a range of formal issues, formats and installation strategies is expected. Experimental studio research informed by contemporary and/or historical precedents develops over the semester. Critical reflection is further developed through discussion with staff and peers. Studio theory further consolidates each student's ability to articulate a contextual framework for their practice. Students will develop, complete and exhibit a substantial body of work. Occupation Health and Safety instruction is included. |

| Indicative Assessment |
Portfolio of studio work (80%) and Journal/Documentation/Studio Theory presentation (20%). Assessment includes periodic critique and review sessions that provide ongoing feedback on work in progress. |

12 hours per week lectures, tutorials, critiques and supervised studio practice and 6 hours per week independent studio practice. |
