Course Description	This course gives students exposure to project management in an operational context. Students undertake a series of project planning assessments. By the end of the course, students will be able to demonstrate their ability to plan the following aspects of project management: Scope Management, Project Time, Cost and Quality, Human Resource Management, Project Communications Management, Risk Management, and Procurement.
Learning Outcomes	Upon successful completion of the requirements for this course, students will be able to: CLO1 analyse and initiate a business project CLO2 analyse and plan a business project CLO3 monitor, control and close a business project
Indicative Assessment	Project Management Milestone 1 30% Project Management Milestone 2 40% Project Management Milestone 3 30%
Workload	Students taking this course are expected to commit at least 10 hours per week to completing the work. This will include 3 hours per week in class and at least 7 hours a week on average (including non-teaching weeks) on course reading, research, writing and assignment work.
