Program Requirements

The Graduate Certificate in Economic Policy requires the successful completion of courses to the value of 24 units.

Required courses (24 units)

  • ECON7073 Microeconomic Principles for Economic Policy
  • ECON7074 Macroeconomic Principles for Economic Policy
  • EMET7001 Introduction to Analysis of Economic Models and Data
  • ECHI1006 The Australian Economy: Past and Present OR STAT7055 Introductory Statistics for Business and Finance

Other courses may be substituted at the discretion of the Program Delegated Authority. Students intending to go further with their Economics study are required to take STAT7055 Introductory Statistics for Business and Finance in lieu of ECHI1006 The Australian Economy: Past and Present.
