This is a flexible program intended for those who wish to broaden their knowledge, or to develop knowledge in areas that were not included in earlier studies, in the nominated area of specialisation. The Graduate Diploma also provides a route for candidates without an Honours Bachelor degree to progress to a higher degree.
Candidates complete at least 48 units of courses, often selected from Honours level courses within the area. In most cases, a research project is undertaken. Selection of particular courses, and choice of the extent of the research project, is made in consultation with the program coordinator to suit the background and aims of the student.
Admission Requirements
An Australian Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a cognate discipline area with an average of 60% in relevant later year courses.
