Most students who take the graduate diploma progress to the master degree.  If you choose not to progress to the master degree, you will still be eligible for employment in the major economic ministries in the Australian government. If you are coming from an overseas country, you will be able to return to ministries of planning, finance, and trade, central banks or universities of your home country.
