| Course Description |
Students identify and analyse major issues in international accounting, areas of international comparability and conflict, and institutional and other factors driving national practices. Particular focus is givent to the influence of environmental and managerial factors on the development of accounting theory and practice and to developing critical understanding of accounting in various countries. | Learning Outcomes | This course is designed to provide students with a comprehensive and firm understanding of the concepts and issues involved with International Accounting. |
| Indicative Assessment | The assessment for this course will negotiated with students, but is likely to include multiple major pieces of assessment due throughout the teaching period. |
| Workload | Teaching for this course is likely to be in the format of one 3 hour seminar per week; however, enrolment numbers may dictate that it be run differently. Students will also be expected to put in up to 5 hours of their own time outside of class focussing on individual research. |
