| Course Description |
Most courses in applied econometrics are based on the principle that a study of various classic papers in the literature will provide training for students in the field. In contrast, the philosophy of Case Studies is that the best way to learn econometrics is to do it. Most of the course is concerned with the practical problems facing an applied researcher. Students are introduced to these problems through a supervised research project. Lectures will be given on a selection of topics in applied econometrics. |
