| Course Description |
This course develops a comprehensive overview of the analysis, design and technology of manufacturing systems, with the emphasis on production systems. Technologies considered include machine configuration and control, CNC technology, cellular and flexible manufacturing systems, robotics and automation, and an introduction to scheduling, operations research and process optimisation. |
