Course Description

(a) Sound system and script;
(b) Grammar;
(c) Study of selected texts;
(d) Translation from and into Persian.

Indicative Assessment Final examination 50%, attendance and class participation 25%, homework 25%.
Workload Four hours of lectures per week (may include language laboratory sessions).
Course Classification(s) TransitionalTransitional courses are designed for students from a broad range of backgrounds and learning achievements, which provide for the acquisition of generic skills; or an informed understanding of contemporary issues; or fundamental knowledge for transition to Advanced or Specialist courses.
