The program requires completion of 24 units of postgraduate courses offered by the School of Botany and Zoology and the School of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology that are relevant to molecular genetic analysis.  The program would ordinarly be taken in semester 1, but there is scope to take some courses in semester 2
