• BIOL8211 Molecular Marker Technology 1 (6 Units)
• BIOL8212 Molecular Marker Technology 2 (6 Units) - Must be taken in conjunction with BIOL8211

Electives:

• BIOL8705 Challenges in Conservation Biology (6 Units)
• BIOL6016 Population Genetics (6 Units) - incompatible with BIOL3151, BIOL8221 and BIOL8222
• BIOL6162 Molecular Biotechnology (6 Units)
• BIOL6142 General Microbiology (6 Units)

 

Semester 2, winter or spring sessions as appropriate (July to November)

• BIOL8251 Research Skills (6 Units) - (Workshop course run over several weeks early in Semester 2)
• BIOL6243 Advanced Genetics and Bioinformatics (6 Units) - Incompatible with BIOL6241 and BIOL6242.
• BIOL6005 Conservation Biology (6 Units) - incompatible with BIOL8705
• Other courses as approved by the convenor
