This program is offered jointly with the National University of Singapore.  The program is structured as a one year, 8 courses Master degree. Two of the courses must be ANU courses and a further two must be NUS courses.  The ANU courses to be offered will be drawn predominately from the Science Communication and Contemporary Science programs.  ANU staff will attend the NUS campus to teach the core ANU courses in an intensive mode of delivery. ANU elective courses will be available online, by intensive mode in Singapore, or ANU campus-based semester-long courses. The mode of delivery for individual ANU elective courses will be restricted to one of the previous options and may vary from year to year.

Requirements

Admission Criteria: 

  • A Bachelor's degree in Science (or equivalent) from a reputable university.
  • A postgraduate diploma from NIE for school teachers without an honours degree.
  • Good TOEFL score if English was not the medium of instruction in their undergraduate studies.
  • Other applicants without an honours degree in science will be considered on a case by case basis
  • Assessment

    The assessment is intimately tied to the learning objectives as defined within each course.
