| Course Description |
This course draws together the compulsory skills, practice areas and values from the APLEC/LACC Competency Statements for Entry-level Lawyers. The work in this course centres on a simulation environment where students work together in law offices to complete transactions in the Civil, Commercial and Property practice areas. Skills development and ethical issues arise in the context of these transactions. |

This is an online course without class contact time. The course is a substantial one and you should expect to spend 15 to 20 hours per week on it, plus time you spend in placement in a legal office.
