| Course Description | Students in this course learn about and gain experience in the development of science communication programs. Specific training is given in the development of science centre exhibits and web-based science communication. By the end of the course students will have demonstrated their ability to develop a proposal for a science exhibition, a science based website, and a science project of their own choice. |
| Learning Outcomes |
On satisfying the requirements of this course, students will have the knowledge and skills to: 1. Be aware of the challenges of communicating science through different media. 2. Understand the process of developing and producing science communication programs including science centre exhibitions and web-based science communication. 3. Apply this knowledge to the planning of science communication programs. 4. Present information in formal reports, presentations and dossiers |
