Course Description	In this course students will be introduced to a wide variety of computer applications in the context of professional art practices. The course covers image manipulation (Photoshop), graphic (Illustrator) and 3D modeling (Carrara) as well as website creation (Dreamweaver). It provides access to and an understanding of Information Technology facilities and IT systems relevant to the School of Art.
Learning Outcomes	By the end of this course you should be able to: Show understanding of the relevant Information Technology facilities and IT systems, in particular the relevant software applications used at the School of Art Demonstrate an awareness of the specific applications of image, graphic, 3D and I.C web design software and apply them appropriately in a creative way Translate your ideas both into a digital 2D and 3D (virtual) form Use a range of creative digital applications with confidence Show awareness of personal and shared responsibilities regarding OH&S requirements and procedures. Creatively apply skills in a web-based learning environment.
Indicative Assessment	10-15 digital images presented as a website (90%), attendance (10%).
