| Course Description |
In Major 3, a broader range of intermediate skills, techniques and processes, including occupational health and safety principles, is introduced in each workshop. Instruction through project-based studio work encourages an integration of material practice with growing conceptual investigation. Studio theory increasingly serves to contextualize student study within the broader arts context. |

| Indicative Assessment |
Portfolio of studio work (80%) and Journal/Documentation/Studio Theory presentation (20%). Assessment includes periodic critique and review sessions that provide ongoing feedback on work in progress. |
| Workload |
12 hours per week lectures, tutorials, critiques and supervised studio practice and 6 hours per week independent studio practice.
