Learning Outcomes

By the end of this course you should be able to:

  1. make progress in developing a resolved body of work
  2. discuss the areas of focus embodied in the work
  3. conduct research to develop individual concerns
  4. demonstrate an ability to work independently and productively
  5. show understanding of personal and shared responsibilities of the artist vis a vis OH&S requirements and procedures and studio management
Indicative Assessment

Portfolio of studio work (80%) and Journal/Documentation/Studio Theory presentation (20%). Assessment includes periodic critique and review sessions that provide ongoing feedback on work in progress.

Workload

6 hours per week lectures, tutorials, critiques and supervised studio practice and 3 hours per week independent studio practice.
