| Course Description |
This course aims to provide an overview of the theories and practices of management in organisational contexts. |
| Learning Outcomes |
On successful completion of this course, students will understand: 1. the history of management thought, 2. management roles, 3. management functions, 4. planning and strategy, 5. organisation structure and design, 5. control, and 6. process improvement in organisations. |
| Indicative Assessment |
Assessment in this course will comprise of items such as in-class tests, group projects or assignments, class presentations and a final examination. the performance of the studetns will be moderated by the supervising college. |
| Workload |
Classes will meet three times weekly for two-hour sessions. |
