| Course Description |
This course continues the study begun in semester one and complements and parallels DART6504. It extends the theoretical and aesthetic studies of techniques of sound synthesis and signal processing in contemporary computer music composition and performance. It concludes with a review of up to date resources and directions in Computer Music. |

Through research and creative outcomes. Final project to be presented to a Viva examination panel. Research Essay and Presentation (50%), Final Project (50%) |

All sessions take place in a computer laboratory: 3 hours of seminar / studio practice per week Students are expected to do at least an extra 4 - 6 hours of independent studio practice each week |
