Unit Value Range	12 units to 24 units
Course Description	It has become common practice for students to spend their first Honours semester at a French or Francophone University, undertaking an approved program of study. The Honours thesis begins during this period and is completed in the second semester. Those students who cannot spend a semester in France should see the Convenor for further information regarding coursework arrangements and requirements. All intending students should see the Honours Convenor as early as possible.
Indicative Assessment	Two coursework components, written in French: ea 20% 12,000 - 15,000 word thesis, written in French: 50% Final oral examination: 10%.
Workload	Four semesters part time.
