| Course Description |
An introduction to spoken Indonesian covering the core vocabulary and grammar of the language, question-answer interaction and a practical command of four commonly occurring conversational topics/situations. |
| Learning Outcomes | At the end of the course students will be able to participate effectively in basic conversations on a number of everyday topics |
| Indicative Assessment |
Classroom performance and participation (15%), Mid-course oral examination (20%), End of course oral examination (30%), four written tests (totalling 20%), four quizzes (totalling 10%), attendance (5%). Less than 50% attendance will result in course failure regardless of other marks.
