Course Description

(a) working from Indonesian to English
(b) working from English to Indonesian
(c) consolidation of an active command of spoken Indonesian, including the informal style.

Indicative Assessment

Indonesian-English translation (30%), English-Indonesian translation (35%), Final oral exam (35%). Graduate students attend joint classes with undergraduates but may expect more rigorous assessment and additional assignment work, tailored to the graduate students’ interests.
